About the Retreat
Mindfulness is a particular way of paying attention. It means employing a non-judgmental attitude and moment-to-moment awareness. We cultivate it by being present with our experience; the pleasant, unpleasant, and neutral experiences. It is simple but not easy as we habitually find ourselves judging just about everything. If we try to suspend our judgement, it will not last while this is already slipping off into being judgmental without even being aware of it. Often we get caught up with the busyness of today's societal demands risking being in ignorance that can cloud our lives. We may forget who we are, lose touch with ourselves, lose touch with our hearts, and we may eventually lose our ways in the journey of life.
This retreat is meticulously crafted for you to learn and cultivate mindfulness and meditation with openness, kind awareness, and compassion. How to embody the mind, body, and spirit to stay connected with yourself. You'll learn to meditate to develop mindfulness, composure, and clear awareness.

How would you like the practice to support you? This session will give you an opportunity to explore your thoughts and emotions to determine the best mindfulness and compassion practice for you. You may ask questions about starting your practice, or you may have experienced difficulties during your practice, just any concerns you may have to kick start your own practice.
